Coronavirus Update:  Parks, Offices, and Recreation Faclities Closed to the Public.  Events Cancelled.

On April 29, 2020, Bay Area Health Officers Issue Updated Stay-at-Home Order with New Restrictions to Last Through May 31.  The recreation facilities at the Crockett Community Center and pool remain closed.  Beginning April 1, 2020, parks of the District, Alexander Park and Memorial Hall Park, are closed to the public.  The use of the playgrounds and picnic areas is prohibited. Use of shared public recreational facilities such as the bocce courts, pool, and bathrooms in Alexander Park is prohibited and have been be closed for recreational and public use.  Tennis courts will reopen on May 4 but must maintain social distancing.

Safety, and the health of our employees, our community and the environment, remain our top priority. Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and March 16, 2020 Order by Contra Costa Health Services, since extended, that Governmental Agencies cease Non-Essential Operations at physical locations, the Crockett Community Services District (CCSD) has closed its offices and buildings to the public effective midnight Tuesday, March 17. 

The coronavirus outbreak will not impact your wastewater service. CCSD will continue to provide reliable, essential service to keep our community healthy.

Emergency Sewer Permits and inspections can still be acquired by appointment by calling us at (510) 787-2992.  All non-essential sewer lateral replacement work and non-essential public sewer construction has been suspended.  Essential miniatous of the public sewer system will continue and you may still see cleaning crews accessing manholes throughout Crockett and Port Costa.

Information on auditorium rental and other recreation services are considered non-essential operations and as such inquires may not be responded to until after the lifting of the Stay-at-Home order.  Limited Essential District staff is working to continue basic minimum governmental operations.  You may still call (510) 787-2414 to leave a message and staff will get back to you when practical, We appreciate your understanding.

Board and Commission meetings will continue to be held at their regular date and time, but they will be held by teleconference only.  Please see meeting calendars for more information,


Community Events, Private Rentals, and District Programs Cancelled Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

By Order of Contra Costa County Health Services (CCHS) and out of an abundance of caution and in response to the guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and CCHS regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Crockett Community Services District and Crockett Recreation Department is cancelling all events at its recreation facilities.  If you have a reservation for an event that is scheduled to occur through May 31, it has been cancelled.  For events scheduled through May 31, our Recreation staff will be in contact with you to discuss the possibility of the need to cancel your event based on ever changing government requirements related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Crockett Community Services District is proactively monitoring all information from local, state, and federal health agencies and is following their guidance, recommendations, and orders.
