BOARD VACANCY — YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU!

Make a difference in Crockett and Port Costa. The Crockett Community Services District (CCSD) is inviting eligible community members to apply for one of two open seats on its Board of Directors.

As a Director, you can help guide decisions affecting District services, priorities, and the future of our communities. CCSD provides sanitary, recreation, lighting, and landscape/maintenance services. This is a volunteer position, and the appointment is for a full four-year term beginning in December 2026.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Applicants must be registered voters who reside within the District boundaries in Crockett or Port Costa. Prior public-agency or board experience is not required; the application invites you to share your interests, experience, and ideas.

HOW TO APPLY

Complete the attached “CCSD Board of Directors — Statement of Interest / Applicant Questionnaire.” You may also include a separate letter of interest to expand on your responses but not required.

Please submit your application no later than October 22 at 4 PM. Interviews are expected to be held at the October 28 Board meeting.

The Board will interview applicants and expects to consider an appointment at its November 18, 2026 meeting, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Crockett Community Center, 850 Pomona Street, Crockett. The Board meeting schedule or appointment time may be confirmed with the District Secretary.
