Recreation Funding Poll - Your Input Matters

The image features diverse groups engaging in activities: a swimmer, a tennis player, and joyful scenes of people celebrating and playing.

Our Parks & Recreation programs, facilities, and community events are funded through local recreation tax revenues and supplemented by grants. The Recreation tax rate has not been increased since 2012. Since that time, inflation and rising operational costs have significantly outpaced available funding, making it more challenging to maintain current programs and facilities. The Recreation Department has had to rely on grants through the P66, Crockett Community Foundation, Air Liquide, and other local organizations.

We are seeking community input to help guide future discussions.

You may complete this survey and drop off at the Community Center (850 Pomona Street) by end of day on Sunday, February 15.
